Duncan's Motorsport Photo's

Exeter

Have added photo's from Tillerton and Simms.

Both sections seemed quite dry. Some of the Simm's photo's quality is a bit poorer as they are taken from video footage. Stuart Harrolds photo is just as his diff broke approaching the finish. Alan Cundy was the most spectacular getting the Golf airbourne at the bottom step having been up the bank on the bottom bend with understeer! Biggest wheelie must go to Tristan White in his (??) Imp so big that he had to lift right off but then still sailed up!!

MSA Championship Review

John Fack won the MSA British Sporting Trial having tied on points with Ian Wright. Unbelievably the title was decided on the final section of the year with Duncan Stephens winning the trial, handing the title to Fack. Fack took six wins to Wright and Stephens’ four but it was Wrights’ consistency that enabled him to challenge for the championship, driving a Kincraft. In nearly forty years of trialing it was only the second time that Fack has won the championship in his second year driving a Crossle, having previously won the title 2001. Duncan Stephens finished third in his debut year driving his Crossle, after finishing fourth last year.

1st John Fack 143, 2nd Ian Wright 143, 3rd Duncan Stephens 133.

Pete Fear Pinford Report

Duncan Stephens won the Pete Fear Pinford sporting trial organised by Ross & District MC, having tied with Ian Wright and John Fack one point further back. At lunch Fack was two points behind Stephens, although Wright put in a strong afternoon to narrowly miss out on the win. Julian Fack was fourth with Andy Wilks taking fifth, his best result to date, and rookie Jason Daniel twelfth in only his fifth national trial.

1st Duncan Stephens 24, 2nd Ian Wright 24, 3rd John Fack 25, 4th Julian Fack 37, 5th Andy Wilks 45, 6th Richard Gowen 54

November Sporting Trial Photo's

Have added photo's from the www.sportingtrials.com November Sporting sporting trial held on Sunday 8th October. Following rain in the preceeding week the venue was altered from Ascott to across the road at Long Compton where the club put on another high quality trial, a qualifying round of the MSA & BTRDA Championships.

Thanks must go to Ian Wright and John Ridley for re-arranging everything on the Friday afternoon.
